West Virginia Motor Speedway, Mineral Wells, West Virginia, has officially set the reopening of the facility and its new 3/8-mile dirt oval for Saturday, October 11.

Headlined by a $5,000-to-win Super Late Model feature, the Saturday-night slate will include a UMP Modified showcase, Pro Late Model battle and a Sport Mod showdown.

"This is a milestone moment for West Virginia Motor Speedway," said track owner Mike Hurley. "We've put countless hours and resources into building a new short track that will deliver close, competitive racing to keep the fans engaged in the action. October 11 will be the first chance for fans to experience the new track, and we are looking forward to everyone's support".

The speedway originally opened in 1984.
